THE BUGLE BOY is a live acoustic music venue known as “a listening room” that provides an intimate, distraction free experience to connect with artists performing on stage. They generally have performances every Friday and Saturday night. Tickets can be purchased online, as well as access to join the performance live-stream remotely. VIP membership levels are available that offer advance notice of upcoming shows and priority seating in the venue. FESTIVAL HILL INSTITUTE

Located in historic Round Top, Texas, the Institute was founded in 1971 by concert pianist James Dick. The reknown Summer Concert Series in includes master classes and concerts by the Texas Festival Orchestra made up of students from the Summer Festival with guest conductors. Stage in Holman Valley Dancehall

The Holman Valley Steakhouse Dancehall is located north of Weimar, Texas in historic Holman Valley, Texas. The current owners painstakingly renovated the 110 year-old Dancehall in the behind the Steakhouse and feature many great acts from the local area and beyond. MIKE STROUP MUSIC

Mike is an acoustic guitarist and vocalist living in central Texas. He was born and raised in southern Ohio, and got to here as soon as he could. His music career spans 40+ years and he currently performs solo and in various group arrangements. He is active in western swing, bluegrass, americana and country genres. 

In addition to performing Mike offers sound reinforcement and stage booking / management services.

Songwriter Serenade is an annual songwriting competition held at St. John the Baptist parish hall and pavilion in St. John Texas, southwest of Schulenburg. The event occurs in early May each year. 15 semi-finalists are chosen by a panel of judges who have evaluated entries from over 150 songwriters. They will compete before a panel of experienced performaning songwriters in a live competition for over $10,000 in prizes. A ticketed concert featuring the judges of the competition will take place the evening after the contest at the same location, with the winner of the competition as the opening performance.
